Observe What's There
Updated: Oct 12, 2022

What I've shared with you in the past two weeks could be used to fill a thousand articles, but I want to take it slow and make sure you really understand what I'm saying.
RealitySeeker does not claim to have an ultimate truth or a secret to life. I am not advocating for a supernatural belief or divine revelation of freedom. I am only making three claims:
Reality is an interconnected whole
Reality is deeper and more profound than logical explanation
Accepting these facts can provide you relief from stress, anxiety, and depression
In my opinion, what is most confusing about those statements is the claim that thought and language do not provide adequate descriptions of the world. It seems obvious to me, but if you don't think about it too much, you might not realize how hollow conceptual thinking can be.
Think of it this way. What if everything in our world were wireframes? No colors, no textures, no subtle patterns of appearance. What would be left would be a toothpick world, devoid of its wonderful details.
Sure, I can look on the kitchen countertop and see an apple there. I say to myself "apple" and go about my day without thinking about what I just experienced. If you do that repeatedly with different objects throughout your day, you introduce a great deal of error into your understanding.
Your perception of an apple can be described as a snapshot judgment. You're almost certainly not going to mistake something else for an apple, so categorically, you are correct. However, how much information does a categorical description contain? It would have been as if you were looking at a child's line drawing of an apple and just accepting that it was real.
When you slow down and "watch" your world, this makes sense. Then you realize, wow, this apple is a lot more complicated than I had anticipated. There are subtle color variations between red, green, and yellow. There are small pockmarks on its skin. It is possible to read the sticker to find out where it was grown or sold. When you make a conceptual snapshot of reality, you are taking a shortcut and fooling yourself into believing you understand the whole thing.
It's not that I'm obsessed with apples, lol. Basically, I'm just describing to you what I understand meditation can do for you. Meditation differs only in that you observe both the things and the spaces between them.
I'm going to stop there for today since I don't want to rush ahead if I might not have been understood. As always, I greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide in the comments section. As a result, I will be able to resolve any misunderstandings that may have arisen when I first explained RealitySeeker to people.
