What is RealitySeeker All About?

This question has been asked since the beginning...

...And the best answer is, "I don't know yet." That's not because I have no idea what I am doing, but because I prefer not to limit what it can become. I recognize the challenge and the danger of defining something in objective terms.

This is one of my favorite quotes along these lines:

"The true artist is not proud, he unfortunately sees that art has no limits; he feels darkly how far he is from the goal; and though he may be admired by others, he is sad not to have reached that point to which his better genius only appears as a distant, guiding sun." -- Beethoven

That's how I perceive the way that art functions, and what I suspect is a healthy way to find flourishing, meaningful living and community development. As a certified peer support specialist, I believe this philosophy reflects the non-judgmental attitude we must take when effectively connecting with others and helping them find their own strengths and strategies toward living the life they want to live.

I want to do more writing and I have done more in 2021, but it is still sometimes more effective to point to examples to demonstrate what the RealitySeeker project means to me.

I really enjoy the online newsletter Brain Pickings by Maria Popova, and I highly recommend it to all of you. I read it every weekend over coffee. This morning, I found an older article that she published in 2014 that very aptly captures what I think is the point of RealitySeeker.
